If you choose to stay in university dormitories, please proceed to the International Office immediately after arrival to complete your enrollment procedures.
According to the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Entry and Exit of Foreign Nationals, international students must register at the local police station within 24 hours of arrival. However, if you stay in a hotel or on-campus accommodation, you do not need to register personally—the hotel or accommodation management will handle the registration on your behalf.
Failure to comply with these regulations may result in a warning or a fine of up to 2,000 RMB.
