On January 15, President Liu Yunhe led a delegation to visit PowerChina Xiong’an Construction and Development Co., Ltd. During the visit, Liu held discussions with Zhou Quan, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of PowerChina Real Estate Group Co., Ltd., and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Deputy General Manager of PowerChina Xiong’an Construction and Development Co., Ltd., and met with several alumni working at the company.
Liu Yunhe introduced the university’s development history, disciplinary strengths, and recent achievements in talent cultivation and scientific research. He expressed his gratitude to PowerChina Group for its long-term support for the university and noted that this visit aimed to further promote practical cooperation between the two sides in areas such as talent cultivation, student internships, and graduate employment, thereby contributing to the accelerated development of new quality productive forces for both parties.
Zhou Quan introduced the group’s recent development and business layout. He noted that PowerChina and Xi’an University of Technology have established a solid foundation for cooperation and expressed appreciation for the large number of outstanding graduates cultivated and supplied by the university over the years. He also expressed hope that both sides would establish long-term cooperative mechanisms in scientific and technological research, talent cultivation, and internship and employment opportunities, achieving mutually beneficial development.
During the visit, Liu Yunhe and his delegation also toured the Xiong’an PowerChina Huizhi City Project.
Representatives from the Office of the CPC Committee, the President’s Office, the Human Resources Department, and the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture accompanied the delegation during the visit.
