Zhu Jiwei, male, born in March 1982, from Rizhao, Shandong, is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a PhD, professor, and doctoral supervisor.
Currently serving as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Xi'an University of Technology, responsible for scientific research, library and information technology, campus network, basic education, and other related work; Responsible for the Science and Technology Department, New Quality Productivity Innovation Center, Library, Information Management Department, and Basic Education Development Center.
He has served as the Vice Dean and Dean of the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Xi'an University of Technology, Vice Dean (on secondment) of the Graduate School at Hohai University, and Dean of the Graduate School at Xi'an University of Technology. Appointed as a member of the Party Committee of Xi'an University of Technology in July 2024.
Mainly engaged in teaching and research work in the fields of civil engineering and water conservancy construction and management, intelligent construction and smart water conservancy, regional economy and water resources management. Winner of the "Huo Yingdong Education Foundation Young Teacher Award for Higher Education Institutions", selected for the "Shaanxi Province High level Talent Special Support Plan" and "Shaanxi Province Outstanding Youth Talent Support Plan for Universities", responsible for the construction of a national first-class professional in engineering management, director of the Shaanxi University New Think Tank Ecological Water Resources and Sustainable Development Research Center, and also serves as the vice chairman of the Youth Science and Technology Work Committee of the China Water Resources Society and the vice chairman of the Management Science and Engineering Management Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial University Education Guidance Committee. Hosted 7 national level projects, commissioned over 60 projects by provincial, ministerial, and enterprise institutions, published over 80 high-level papers, and obtained 22 patents/software copyrights. Has won more than 10 provincial and ministerial level scientific research and teaching awards, including the first prize of Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award, the first prize of Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, the China Industry University Research Cooperation Innovation Award, and the first prize of China Water Resources Higher Education Research Achievement Award.
Appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Xi'an University of Technology in August 2025.
