Liu Yunhe, male, born in May 1968 in Lingyuan, Liaoning Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a PhD, professor, and doctoral supervisor.
The current Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Xi'an University of Technology, responsible for overseeing the overall administrative work of the university, including personnel, finance, auditing, and other related tasks; Responsible for the Personnel Department.
He has served as the Vice Dean of the School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering, Dean of the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering, and Dean of the School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering at Xi'an University of Technology. Appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Xi'an University of Technology in December 2018. Elected as a member of the 13th Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in January 2023.
Mainly engaged in research on seismic resistance of hydraulic structures and building structures, fluid solid dynamic coupling theory, etc., has published more than 80 academic papers, including more than 50 SCI/EI indexed papers. Hosted and undertook one key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, completed four national level projects, over 40 provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, and various horizontal research projects. Received one special prize from the China Society of Hydroelectric Power Engineering, one first prize and three second prizes in Shaanxi Province Science and Technology, and one first prize in Shaanxi Province Teaching Achievement Award. It has successively won the honorary titles of exemplary individual of Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology and exemplary individual of Shaanxi University Talent Work. Simultaneously serving as the Deputy Director of the Seismic Special Committee of the Chinese Society of Hydroelectric Power Engineering and the Vice Chairman of the Shaanxi Society of Hydroelectric Power Engineering.
Appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Xi'an University of Technology in April 2021.
